It seems like we were just ‘decking the halls’, and now it’s already time for candy hearts and roses- it’s unbelievable! Whether your plans for Valentine’s Day consist of a romantic dinner with your boo, cocktails with the girls, or binging on junk food and Netflix (no shame in my game!), I’m partnering with my friends at Chicwish to share some fun outfit inspiration for the day of love!
I really do look forward to getting dolled up for festive occasions. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’ll take any chance I can get to slip on a pink tulle skirt. I just love it paired with this adorable embroidered heart pullover. Be advised, this sweater does run a bit big, so I just made some quick adjustments so it would have more of a cropped fit for this outfit. When worn at its true length, it would be perfect with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and your favorite pumps (which is probably a more accurate representation of what I’ll end up wearing this V-Day).

This skirt reminded me of those little boxes of sweethearts candy, and I’ve recently been loving the color blocking trend. As mentioned before in this post I like to wear these midi-skirts with a petticoat underneath for added volume. This skirt fits very true to size, and I’m wearing the size XS for reference. This would be perfect for Galentine’s Day brunch with the girls. The heart crossbody sold out is no longer available in red (I purchased it last year), but since they have released a new and improved version in hot pink velvet! It’s such a great statement piece to complete your festive outfit, not to mention a great conversation starter (I always get compliments when I carry it!)

For those of you that prefer something more effortless and simple, opt for a pair of jeans and a festive top. How cute are those pom pom hearts on this sweater? I chose to wear this off the shoulder and added my favorite bralette, and initial necklace (it has a ‘K’ for my husband ‘Kuinise’).
