TIME to talk about watches (see what I did there?) I love wearing them, but often find myself disappointed in the selection available for smaller wrists. I have very tiny wrists (measuring just 15 cm all the way around), and have always had challenges finding a timepiece that fit properly without the band or face being too large and cumbersome. More specifically I’ve always loved the aesthetic of wood watches, but every one I’ve tried in the past was too bulky or looked too masculine, and because of that were always overlooked in favor of more classic options. However recently, I’ve discovered a game changer in the watch world; JORD watches.
What I found most impressive about JORD, was the extensive selection of wood watches for women. The collection varied in color, style, and shape and all of the choices were elegant and very feminine. There is also a substantial assortment for men. I chose the Dark sandalwood and Emerald from the Frankie Series, and was pleased with the overall fit. For a watch with a larger face, it wasn’t overwhelming at all and in fact was the perfect statement piece for me. Another thing worth mentioning is that the watches are ‘splash-proof’ (though they shouldn’t be completely submerged in water) and each watch is shipped in its own cedar wood watch box.
This watch was so easy to style, and will be a great transitional piece for the upcoming fall season. The bold face makes it stand out, and the natural finish makes it versatile enough to seamlessly accessorize different looks.
