Happy Friday Lei Loves! This week flew by, much as this entire month has. It’s October 19th….just let that sink in a bit. I had the privilege of working with Chicwish at the beginning of summer (view that post here) and I’m so excited to be partnering with them once again to promote a few of their new fall arrivals. They have a great selection of seasonal and one-of-a-kind items, and they have become one of my go-to’s for affordable special occasion pieces.

Like I’ve mentioned before, the sizing runs small which I prefer, but it is important to note when ordering. The website includes a handy size chart alongside each item which is helpful in making selections, especially if you are between sizes. I’m wearing an XS and I love the flattering fit and flare silhouette. I don’t normally gravitate toward this midi length, but am familiar with this brand and where the skirt falls on me. Most people associate gingham with summer (most likely because it looks like a picnic blanket!) but I think it’s a timeless print. Additionally, if you are living in an area that still has a warmer climate during this season, it’s a nice change of pace in contrast to more obvious autumn hues and textures.
As soon as I saw this dress, I was getting some serious vintage vibes, but there are ways to dress this down if going to the Farmer’s Market fully dolled up isn’t your thing 😉 Pair this with cute sandals, flats or even white Converse. As temperatures continue to cool down, layer on a denim jacket for a more classic look or a leather or suede jacket for an added edge.
